ABS for Greener Edge Banding
Ultra Tech has the ability to manufacture your edge banding to exact product specifications using Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), a slightly more environmentally friendly thermoplastic polymer alternative to the traditional PVC product.
ABS is a recyclable, clean-burning alternative to traditional PVC edge banding. ABS is also stronger than regular polystyrene and has great impact resistance for long-lasting quality and durability. The qualities of ABS make it workable in a wide range of temperature and manufacturing conditions – performing well between -4 and 176 °F.
